Welcome to Wapice Talents!

How does a paid internship working on real customer projects under the mentorship of experienced experts sound? Wapice Talents is not just another summer job; it’s a trainee program designed for future top talents like you, complete with personal mentors. Participants in the program get to dive deep into the world of technology and learn how software development is done in real projects. Wapice Talents picks up where classroom learning leaves off.

Every year, we hire 5–15 new Talents across Finland. The program aims to offer a great growth opportunity and, after the program, a long-term position at Wapice.

Who can apply?

The program is designer for university or university of applied sciences students in IT-industry, recent graduates, and early-career professionals aspiring to become future experts. Examples of relevant study areas include computer science, information technology, software engineering, ICT, and information systems. However, your skills and passion to grow are what matter most, not your specific field of study.

Our working language is English, so you’re welcome to apply even without knowledge in Finnish. We hope you have completed at least 30 course credits in your major studies.

Wapice Talents provides valuable work experience and opportunities for growth. After completing the program, you’ll have the chance to join Wapice in a permanent position.

We are looking for trainees across various skillsets. You can apply to multiple tracks based on your skills and interests. The tracks may vary each year depending on the expertise we are seeking at each time.

Duration and working time

The Wapice Talents program lasts for 7 months. After the program, we will evaluate the possibility of extending your employment. Our goal is to find long-term Wapiceans through the Talents program.

We tailor your working hours to suit your life situation, whether you are a student or prefer part-time work for other reasons. Working hours typically range from 20% to 80% of full-time employment.

Location

You can work from any of our sites located in Vaasa, Tampere, Helsinki, Turku, Seinäjoki, Jyväskylä, Oulu, Hyvinkää, or Kuopio.

We also offer everyone the option to work flexibly remotely (within Finland).
